Springsteen, Bruce Bruce Springsteen Band at the Student Prince, soundboard   1971 Asbury Park, NJ 1   SBD     It's 1971.  Steel Mill has disbanded.  Bruce has a new band named after the band leader himself.  The Bruce Springsteen Band has just reduced their size by letting go of their 3 man horn section.  They are playing weekends at the Student Prince.  On off nights Bruce Springsteen Band members Steve Van Zandt, Vini Lopez, and Garry Tallent have their own band with local harmonica player and singer: Southside Johnny Lyon.  Their band is called Sundance Blues Band.  Bruce Springsteen Band; Student Prince, Asbury Park, NJ 1971 (we can't verify any more than the year) Special Guest: Southside Johnny [1 CD: 6 songs]: 1) Ain't That Peculiar (cut) 2) You Sure Can Dance 3) Darkness, Darkness 4) The Band's Just Boppin' The Blues 5) I Remember (cut)  6) When You Dance  this set is being traded in lesser quality and shorter form as  several other INCORRECT dates: Sunshine Inn 05-15-71, Sunshine Inn 08- 07-71 etc.  Ours is a HUGE improvement in sound, and includes additional performances...we believe that our venue is correct. anthony.louie@verizon.net
